                                     Spring Break 2027: Fieldwork in Scotland
Students will spend 2 days in Dublin, Ireland and 6 days in Edinburgh, Scotland. Students will group teach an "Introduction to College" course and an introductory course in your major at the HMP Addiewell and HMP Edinburgh prisons. Participating students will enroll in PLS 3041 "The Criminal Justice System" course during the Spring Semester 2027. Interested students should complete the interest form below. The overall trip cost is $3,500. Each participant will receive a $500 scholarship from the Political Science Department making the student trip cost $3,000, which includes airfare, lodging, travel insurance, group meals, group excursions, and local ground transportation. The $500 deposit for this trip is due in the Political Science Office, Building 94, Room 303 by December 5, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. The final deposit of $2,500 will be due on January 25.
