Palm Desert NGO Internship Trip

NGO Fieldwork in Palm Desert
Students will spend 9 days in Palm Desert doing internships in one of three nonprofit organizations. The prerequisite for this trip is PLS 3175 (Fall 2023). Students who are selected for this internship will enroll in CLS 4990 for the Spring 2024 Semester.

Student Trip Cost: $1,500 (includes bus transportation, lodging, insurance, excursions, group meals). The group will stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Palm Desert and Best Western Palm Desert. Each student will receive a $500 scholarship for this trip and will be required to pay $1,000 for the trip.
