NGO Fieldwork in Hawaii
Students will spend 10 days in Hawaii. Students will teach "Introduction to Soft Skills" and "Introduction to College" workshops to incarcerated male and female youth for the Hawaii Department of Education. The pre-requisite course for this trip for undergraduate PLS 3175 "NGOs & Social Service Outreach" (Fall) and the pre-requisite course for MPA students is MPA 5605 "Criminal Justice Politics & Administration" (Fall). Participating students will enroll in CLS 4990 and earn 3 units of credit during the Spring Semester 2025. All participating students will receive a $500 scholarship from the Political Science 
Department.
