Fieldwork in Costa Rica/Panamá
Students will spend 4 days in Costa Rica and 5 days in Panama during Spring Break learning about biodiversity, sustainability, conservation, and the environment. Students will listen to lectures and interact with students at the Universidad de Costa Rica and Universidad de Panama, conduct field research. Students will learn about Costa Rica and Panama's unique impact on the planet’s biodiversity and the two countries' commitment to protecting the environment. In Panama, students will learn about the current political dynamics of the Panama Canal. Students will also volunteer at Banco de Alimentos Panama for 3 days in Panama. Each participating student will receive a $500 scholarship for this trip. Interest students for this trip should complete the Interest Form below.
